Cilj i financiranje projekta
Ciljevi, pokazatelji i ishodi projekta izrađeni su na temelju slijedećih strateških dokumenata: Strategije istraživanja, transfera tehnologije i inovacija Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (Zagreb, lipanj 2014.), Strategije internacionalizacije Sveučilišta u Zagrebu 2014. – 2025. (Zagreb, svibanj 2014.), Priručnik za planiranje programskih ugovora za javna visoka učilišta (Zagreb, listopad 2024.), Katalog ciljeva i pokazatelja Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i mladih (Zagreb, listopad 2024.), Strateške smjernice znanstvenoistraživačke djelatnosti Sveučilišta u Zagrebu 2023. – 2026. (Zagreb, 2024.) i Strateški dokument znanstvenih istraživanja Fakulteta hrvatskih studija Sveučilišta u Zagrebu 2025. – 2030. (Zagreb, siječanj 2025.).
Projektom se kao njegov glavni cilj želi istražiti razne oblike percepcije te razne načine prikazivanja povijesti u modernoj i suvremenoj kulturi s naglaskom na razdoblje od druge polovice 18. do početka 21. stoljeća. Na temelju provedenog istraživanja glavni istraživači te njihovi suradnici nastojati će dobiti osnovnu sliku načina prikazivanja povijesti u navedenom razdoblju. Pritom će posebna pažnja biti posvećena razlikama između autentičnih prikaza povijesti temeljenih na povijesnim izvorima, ulozi društvenih čimbenika i politike na percepciju i recepciju povijest, te fikciju stvaratelja u raznovrsnim umjetničkim djelima. Budući da se radi o jednom izrazito interdisciplinarnom projektu u projekt će biti uključeni istraživači i suradnici raznih struka (povjesničari, arheolozi, povjesničari umjetnosti, književni povjesničari, muzeolozi, povjesničari filma, itd.).
Projekt je financiran iz izvora NextGenerationEU, u okviru Nacionalnog plana oporavka i otpornosti (581 – Mehanizam za oporavak i otpornost), na Fakultetu hrvatskih studija Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.
Project Aim and Funding
The project’s objectives, indicators, and outcomes have been developed on the basis of the following strategic documents: the Strategy for Research, Technology Transfer and Innovation of the University of Zagreb (Zagreb, June 2014); the Internationalization Strategy of the University of Zagreb 2014–2025 (Zagreb, May 2014); the Handbook for Planning Programme Contracts for Public Higher Education Institutions (Zagreb, October 2024); the Catalogue of Objectives and Indicators of the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth (Zagreb, October 2024); the Strategic Guidelines for Research Activities of the University of Zagreb 2023–2026 (Zagreb, 2024); and the Strategic Document for Scientific Research of the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb 2025–2030 (Zagreb, January 2025).
The main aim of the project is to investigate various forms of historical perception and the diverse modes of representing history in modern and contemporary culture, with particular emphasis on the period from the second half of the 18th century to the early 21st century. Based on the conducted research, principal investigators and their collaborators will seek to obtain a general overview of how history has been represented during this period. Special attention will be devoted to differences between authentic representations of history grounded in historical sources, the role of social factors and politics in shaping the perception and reception of history, and the influence of creative fiction in various artistic works. As this is a highly interdisciplinary project, it will involve researchers and collaborators from multiple fields (historians, archaeologists, art historians, literary historians, museologists, film historians, etc.).
The project is funded through NextGenerationEU, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (581 – Recovery and Resilience Mechanism), at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb.
